🔥 Welding RPP Contest Success! 🔥
Out of 23 competitors, Bettendorf shined with Noah Crump (1st) and Landon Desseyn (3rd)—great work! 👏
Thanks to generous support from SJ Smith and Airgas, every student took home their project and a tool or gear.
Shoutout to Haleigh Hoyt and Andy Zinn (Davenport West) for helping everything run smoothly.
A great example of teamwork between students, staff, and industry partners across the QC! 💪

🌱💧 The BHS Conservation Club has been selected as a 2026 American Water Charitable Foundation Water and Environment grant recipient! This funding will support the purchase of native plant seeds to help absorb rainwater, reduce flooding, and prevent pollutants from entering our local streams—protecting the very water we drink.

The grant will also fund an electric mower to help create a trail through the prairie and forest areas maintained by our students. This space will serve as an outdoor classroom, educating both students and our community about the importance of native landscapes in protecting water quality.

We’re proud of our students for leading the way in environmental stewardship!
