What drew you to Bettendorf Schools?
I am a proud alumni of BSCD (2020) and excited to contribute to a community that I learned from. I also cherish the opportunity to work alongside the teachers who crafted my love of learning who continue to instill the love of learning in all BCSD students.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work (family, pets, hobbies).
A Bettendorf native, I'm proud to still call this community home. My passion for volleyball, which began in high school and continued through college, now has me coaching at BHS. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy trying new recipes and I love to bake for my students.
What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
When I was a fifth grade student at Paul Norton Elementary, I gave up my recess to volunteer in Mrs. Milburn's first grade each day.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am excited to meet my students to begin to create long-lasting relationships with each one like I was able with my Bettendorf Teachers. I also looking forward to working alongside all of the hard working staff at Neil Armstrong.
