October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time to reinforce the importance of kindness, respect and belonging in our schools.
At Bettendorf Community School District, we all play a role in creating welcoming, supportive environments where every student feels safe, valued and included. Families can help by talking with students about treating others with respect, including those who may feel left out, and speaking up when they see bullying or unkind behavior.
Together, we can build a stronger school community by choosing kindness, looking out for one another and showing what it means to be BETTer Together.
